Apricot brandy

Apricot brandy

There are many different types of flavoured brandy available, but apricot brandy is one of the most versatile.

Its light apricot taste is complemented by flavours of brandy and almond, while its strong apricot aroma also adds to the drinking experience.

Apricot brandy is often a type of ‘eau de vie’ distilled from fermented apricot juice. It can also be a liqueur produced from apricot flesh and kernels, or by infusing apricots in cognacs before adding herbs to enhance the flavour.

Apricot brandy is used to provide an interesting twist to lots of cocktails, including Paradise and Bossa Nova.
