Grand Marnier

Grand Marnier

Grand Marnier is a very popular French orange-flavoured liqueur that can be enjoyed on its own or mixed in a wide variety of cocktails.

Created in 1880, Grand Marnier is also frequently used in deserts, such as Crêpes Suzette, "crêpes au Grand Marnier", or Crème brûlée.

Grand Marnier is a close relative of cognac. Featuring 40% alcohol content, it is made from a blend of distilled essence of tropical bitter orange and of different cognacs. Ths produces a bright topaz coloured liqueur with gold and amber tints.

This zesty, citrusy liqueur provides a rich, smooth flavour to cocktails, making it an essential ingredient for any bar. Its strong, silky cognac flavour is complemented by the bitterness of the tropical oranges.

As a result, Grand Marnier is one of the most popular types of liqueur, featured in a large number of cocktails including Cosmopolitan, Margarita, Side Car and B-52.
